about

The family house is situated on a steep, small site viewing Prague and the valley of the river Berounka.
Geometry of modular inter-shifts fastened by the siding optimally exploits the potential of a difficult site. The solution implies free space of the site and reduces the costs of the house. House rises up from the cube of the technical foundations situated under the ground and conically widens up to the level of the second floor. The core of the house - a vertical hall and an audio room – rests in the body of the house between the cellar and the living part of the house.
The program expresses standard living requirements of a 4 person household. The living area is a free composition of the daily area and closed bedrooms with bathrooms. The flat roof serves as a living terrace with a swimming pool. The construction consists of an iron-concrete shell (alternatively planned Lignature) together with a classical thermo-isolation system and a white surface coat.
